Case Study - Pulse Running ATX
As an exercise in design I took the opportunity to craft a branding identity for a specialty concept running store located in Austin, Texas. Austin and running go hand in had so a main goal in the creation of this brand was making sure to stand apart from the competition in both look and execution. In the following case study you will see a carefully thought out brand mark complimented by tasteful marketing materials, collectable swag, and a bold internet presence.

MAIN LOGO
When creating the logo for Pulse the main objective was to convey the message of motion. This is what we call The Track P. The filled lines create the impression of track lanes which customers subconsciously pair with running. Supporting the logo is the word-mark "PULSE" which is set in a modern sans-serif typeface with rounded corners to match the curves of the logo.

MARKETING MATERIALS
(Bifold Brochure)
8"x10"
Soft Touch Matte, Spot Gloss
In addition to being a running store, I envisioned Pulse to be so much more. Pulse is a resource, a community. A Place where runners from all over can come find a place built for like minded people, with useful information.
This bifold brochure created for the Pulse brand, features carefully selected running information to anyone new joining the hobby.
The brochure uses distressed textures that are used to convey grittiness and strength two qualities runners exhibit.

WEB PRESENCE
In today's digital age, a great website goes a long way. Using a big hero with an easy to read nav bar shows the user they are in the right place. With and immediate CTA to join the fellow community of runners, users can easily navigate the site to find the next running event near them.
